Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published
the 2017 Prohibited List (the Prohibited List), which will come into effect
on 1 January 2017.
The Prohibited List specifies the substances and methods prohibited in sport. The List reflects the latest scientific and medical advances and was finalised after a consultative process facilitated by WADA. Information about major modifications to the list and additions to the monitoring program are also available via the WADA website.
We remind you that some medications contain prohibited substances and it is every athlete’s responsibility to check the status of any medication prior to use. You can use the Check Your Substances (Global DRO) tool on the ASADA website to find out the status of Australian medications. Check your Substances will be updated when the changes come into effect.
